• Ortho Elastic Thread is an elastic material used to correct teeth. It can be fixed on the support and bracket of the tooth, by applying different tension and pressure to move the tooth, change its position, Angle and bite relationship, so as to achieve the effect of orthodontic teeth. It can also be used to fix the gap between the teeth, so that the distance between the teeth is gradually reduced, and finally achieve a neat and beautiful mouth. Therefore, Ortho Elastic Thread plays a very important role in orthodontic treatment.

• Upper and lower dental arch pulling method: The elastic line is drawn from the maxillary dental arch to the mandibular dental arch, playing the role of the upper and lower dental arch pulling to correct the jaw protrusion or retraction.
• Traction method: the end of the elastic line is fixed on the tooth, and after proper adjustment, the tooth extraction space can be pulled and the misplaced tooth can be moved to achieve the effect of correction.
• Birth method: The end of the elastic line is fixed at the attachment of the lock jaw, and the upper teeth are promoted to start moving by forcing the lower teeth to move.
• Correction method: The elastic line is fixed on the guide plate and bracket in different ways, and the correction and correction of the teeth are realized through the force of vertical, horizontal and inclined direction.

• Avoid excessive pulling: The strength of the orthodontic elastic line is limited, and excessive pulling will cause damage to the teeth and may even lead to tooth displacement.
• Keep the mouth clean: orthodontic elastic line will inevitably hide dirt, easy to breed bacteria and cause oral problems. Therefore, clean your teeth and orthodontics regularly and use oral cleaning products.
• Avoid biting hard food: Chewing hard food will make the orthodontic elastic line break or fall off, and may even damage the orthodontic device, aggravating the correction time and cost.
• Regular inspection: Regularly check the status of teeth and orthodontics, such as deformity is found, timely adjustment or replacement of Ortho Elastic Thread and equipment.

• In some patients with dental absences, the presence of the underlying tooth-less wire may hurt. An arch wire is provided with one or more sleeves, each of which is a close fit on the wire and in turn fits closely into the bracket slot in which it is inserted.
• The wire/sleeve combination and the bracket cooperate to produce the desired rotation and tipping of the tooth while, if required, the sleeve/bracket combination can slide freely along the wire.This permits the use of very light moving forces and the use of a wire of uniform cross-section along its length while permitting changes of the wire cross-section for each and any bracket to provide the desired orthodontic action.
• Preferably the wire and sleeve cross-sections cooperate to hold the sleeve against rotation about a mesial- distal axis.
• The ends of the sleeve may be splayed to limit its endwise moElastomericvement in the bracket slot.A sleeve may extend over more than one bracket. The sleeve may be a continuous tube, or it may be slit mesially-distally along its lingual face that is within the slot.
